Step into a space where dots become language, and language becomes connection.
Fighting Blindness is delighted to invite you to something new, something shaped by the voices and experiences of its own community. Introducing Braille Connect — a warm, welcoming, peer-led group created by members, for members.
This is more than just a group. It’s a meeting place of curiosity and confidence, where braille is explored, shared, and celebrated. Whether you’re just beginning your journey, fingertips still learning the rhythm of the dots, or you’re a seasoned braille reader with stories and skills to share, you’ll find your place here.
Braille Connect is built on conversation and support. It’s where questions are encouraged, insights are exchanged, and no one feels like they’re figuring things out alone. Expect lively discussions, practical tips, and those small “aha” moments that make learning feel electric.
The group meets on Zoom on the third Thursday of the month from 7-8:30pm — accessible, flexible, and designed to fit around your life.
Pull up a chair, bring your questions, your knowledge, or simply your interest. The conversation is already waiting for you.
Braille Connect will start on Thursday, 18th June at 7pm. To express your interest, get in touch at insightgroups@fightingblindness.ie
