Fighting Blindness Annual General Meeting 2021.

The Fighting Blindness Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place online on Saturday, December 4. Following the constructive feedback from our recently held EGM, we are hosting the Fighting Blindness AGM via Zoom on Saturday 4th December at 11am. We hope that by holding the meeting on a Saturday it will maximize Members’ opportunities to participate.

For the components of the meeting which require members to vote, we will be using the ElectionBuddy online voting system which a number of Members have identified as good practice within the sector. We have created an online audio tutorial for members here:

Family Membership registration

Each eligible family member (spouse, partners and adult children) must provide a unique email address to use the Election Buddy system. Please ensure that family members send their full name, postal address and email address to before 11am on Saturday 4 December 2021.

Proxy Voting

You can nominate a proxy vote to be delivered to Fighting Blindness [7 Ely Place Dublin 2] or via email to

All proxy votes must be registered by Thursday 2 December 11am.

If you don’t wish to name someone, the chairperson at the meeting will be available to vote on your behalf.
