Our office is closed throughout the Covid-19 crisis. A number of our support services are now available online. Visit our dedicated Covid-19 page for more information.
While feelings of depression and anxiety are not inevitable consequences of vision loss, they are quite common and they are treatable.
In addition to individual and family psychotherapy services, we offer support groups for people with a visual impairment to share their feelings and experiences with others facing the same challenges.
The support groups are based in Dublin and Cork.
If you’re interested in attending any of these meetings, please contact us for further information at 01 674 6496 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
As part of the service, I was also encouraged to join a Therapy Group and a Support Group with others like myself. This has allowed me to see beyond myself, appreciate what others are going through and use my talents to help them. Through these meetings I have built up a network of friends with whom I can meet regularly. – Gerry Kerr, Co. Dublin
