Call for Abstracts Retina 2022

Fighting Blindness is delighted to announce the launch of our Retina 2022 Scientific Programme.

After two years of successfully hosting the Retina conference virtually, we will be back to an in-person event once again. This year our conference will be running on November 3, 4 and 5 at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Dublin City.

Taking place on Friday, November 4, 2022, the Scientific Programme of Retina 2022 will promote even greater engagement and knowledge exchange this year! We are now accepting abstracts to be considered for poster display and/or poster sizzlers as well as short talk presentations (more information on each of these below). On-going efforts in the area of vision and the wide spectrum of retinal disease can be submitted under the categories:

  • Laboratory-based Research
  • Clinical Research
  • Case Studies
  • Social Research
  • Public and Patient Involvement (PPI)

Poster- online PDF of poster uploaded to the Retina 2022 website and viewable by all attendees both in person the day of the event and online on the website

  • Poster sizzlers- approx. 1-1.5-minute audio recording to accompany poster on the website. Please note if not selected for a sizzler you will still be considered for a poster.
  • Short talk presentations- approx. 10-minute oral presentations on the day. Please note if not selected for a talk you will still be considered for a poster.

The Retina 2022 website is currently under development but will be live in the coming weeks so stay tuned for further details and announcements.
