Applications are now open for the third cycle of the EUPATI Patient Expert Training Course. EUPATI is a European wide project that aims to provide expert training for patients and patient advocates in medicines research and development. EUPATI will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful contribution to the medicines research and development process, to provide better medicines to patients. Nine people from Ireland have so far completed the course, which is a mixture of independent e-learning coursework and face-to-face training events over a 14-month period.

The EUPATI course is open to anyone who is a volunteer with a patient organisation such as Fighting Blindness, has a chronic or lifelong condition such as a vision impairment, or is a family member of someone who has a chronic or lifelong condition.
