Expressions of Interest: Sculpture Course for the Visually Impaired

Exciting news! After the success of our sculpture course for the visually impaired, we are delighted to announce that we are now accepting expressions of interest for the September intake.

The course is run by Fighting Blindness, in partnership with Cork College of Further Education and Training (F.E.T.) and is led by the talented artist, Krzysztof Rosa.

Join us for a 10-week multi-sensory art journey starting in September 2024.

For those living with visual impairment, exploring the world of fine art may seem challenging, but on this groundbreaking sculpture course, there is no requirement for previous art experience!

Krzysztof has made a beautiful documentary about the participants of the course and it gives a wonderful sense of what to expect in terms of outcomes. Listen/watch here:

Course Details:

When: September 2024 for ten weeks. The exact date and time TBC.

Our course facilitator, Krzysztof Rosa, is not only a skilled artist but also a passionate advocate for making art accessible to all. With a deep appreciation for the sensory experience of art, Krzysztof is committed to creating an inclusive environment where participants can explore their creativity and artistic expression.
