Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in person again this year and we hope that you are able to attend. The in-person meeting will provide the opportunity to meet with old friends and forge new relationships – and we will this year have a very special celebration as Fighting Blindness has reached its significant 40th Birthday.
Fighting Blindness has carefully selected the most accessible venue we could find – the meeting will be in the Higgins Suite at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin 08 at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023. The formal meeting is expected to last around one hour, and light refreshments will be served afterward to celebrate our 40th anniversary.
The Dublin Royal Convention Centre is located close to the city centre, close to Dame Street and Camden Street and extensive bus services. The Centre is attached to the Radisson Blu Hotel on Golden Lane – where we held our Retina Conference last year. Many members will be familiar with the location, and the accessibility within the venue is unrivalled.
If you wish to stay at the hotel, please contact the hotel directly on 01 898 2900 to avail of a discounted rate available to Fighting Blindness members.
