Fighting Blindness is delighted to announce the appointment of Finbarr Roche to the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Finbarr has a record of significant achievement in both the commercial and not-for-profit sector, holding several senior management roles over the past 10 years serving the needs of the vision impaired community in Ireland. He sits on an advisory committee in Fingal County Council and has served as board member and chair of Vision Sports Ireland.

Chair of Fighting Blindness, Ger Comerford, welcomed the appointment and said, “Finbarr brings a unique blend of commercial acumen and direct experience of working in a variety of roles across the vision-impaired sector. He understands the community’s aspirations and has the knowledge and experience required to progress the agenda.
