Find Your Voice: Visionaries Choir Welcomes New Members

Do you love to sing? Are you looking for a welcoming community where you can meet new people, enjoy music and have fun? The Visionaries Choir is looking for new members.

The Visionaries Choir, part of Fighting Blindness’ creative and community activities, brings people together through the shared joy of singing. Whether you have years of experience or simply enjoy singing for fun, the choir is a welcoming space where everyone can get involved.

A choir built around community

The Visionaries Choir has a long history of bringing people together through music. Members have performed at Fighting Blindness events and conferences, sharing their music with audiences while celebrating the creativity and talent within the vision-impaired community.

The choir has also embraced opportunities to make participation more accessible. In the past, members have joined rehearsals remotely from different parts of Ireland, helping make the choir available to people who may not be able to attend in person.

More than just singing

Being part of a choir isn’t only about learning songs and preparing for performances. Singing together can be a great way to connect with other people, build confidence and enjoy a shared creative activity.

For people living with sight loss, opportunities to meet others, develop new interests and take part in social activities can be particularly valuable. Fighting Blindness offers a range of support and community activities designed to help people connect, share experiences and live well with sight loss.

The Visionaries Choir provides another opportunity to come together, make music and build friendships in a relaxed and supportive environment.

No audition required

You don’t need to be an experienced singer to join. There is no audition, and singers of different abilities are welcome.

Rehearsals

When: Saturdays
Where: Fighting Blindness Head Office, 21 Hill Street, Rotunda, Dublin 1, D01 P7V0

The office is close to Parnell Street and is easily accessible by public transport, with the Parnell Luas stop around a two-minute walk away.
