Join Fighting Blindness on the Glendalough Trail Run, Saturday, October 21, 2023

The Glendalough Trail Run is back! Taking place on Saturday, October 21, our popular fundraising event will provide an unforgettable running experience.

Do you want to keep fit, have fun and help us find cures for blindness?

Will you consider registering to join this year’s Glendalough Trail Run, taking place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in aid of furthering Fighting Blindness’ investment in groundbreaking research?

We can offer some challenging trail runs for experienced runners. Not a natural runner? No worries! There is also a shorter walk/jog option for those of you who wish to support Fighting Blindness without the competitive element.

Whether you know someone who is living with degenerative eye disease, or you simply just want to help, gather your friends and family and rise to the challenge.

We have a limited number of early-bird tickets available at a special reduced price of €15 until they sell out (or until July 31, 2023), and the best bit is that the event is open to all fitness levels.

Don’t miss out on this exclusive opportunity to secure your spot at a discounted rate! These tickets are sure to sell out fast, so act quickly to secure your place before they’re gone. Join us for what promises to be an amazing day in Glendalough, raising vital funds for Fighting Blindness.

You can get your competitive juices flowing by registering for a 15km running course or simply enjoy the scenery and company by walking or jogging a non-competitive 8.5km course.

Step by step, you will play an important role in finding a cure.

Registration fees will be used to cover our event running costs and all additional funds raised will be invested in our dynamic research agenda that intends to change lives.

Fighting Blindness has already invested over €20 million in over 115 research and clinical projects. Work that is only made by possible by the many generous people who get behind fundraising events like the Glendalough Trail Run.

Register today and help us continue our mission to cure, support and empower people living with sight loss.

Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment. If you’ve any questions don’t hesitate to contact one of the team at or by phone on 01 678 9004.
