Fighting Blindness is delighted to host an online webinar on Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) with Dr. Farah Ibrahim (Veonet Ireland), Prof. Matthew Campbell (Trinity College Dublin) and Mr Joe Geraghty (Author, Paralympian, and creator of the Joe G podcast).

AMD is a progressive eye condition and the leading cause of sight loss among people over the age of 50 in Ireland. Following the success of our research webinar on Inherited Retinal Diseases (IRDs) in July 2026, we are delighted to announce the second webinar in our Research Webinar Series.

This upcoming event will focus on AMD – exploring advances in AMD care, current clinical management approaches, emerging therapies, and the latest developments in drug discovery and research. Join leading experts as they discuss how innovation is shaping the future of AMD treatment and what these developments may mean for patients and families affected by the condition.
