Fighting Blindness is pleased to announce its participation in the MRCG/HRB Joint Funding Scheme 2016, between the Health Research Board and the Medical Research Charities Group. Details of the scheme can be found on www.hrb.ie.
This scheme will allow Fighting Blindness to provide joint funding for research programmes into retinal research which could lead to potential treatments for sight loss.
The grants available are up to a total of €300k over a three year period with projects anticipated to begin in September 2016.
We are requesting original proposals that are clearly focused on our charitable objectives and our pillars of research:
Collaborations with cross disciplinary groups will be favourably encouraged.
