Congratulations to Orla Comerford on Winning Bronze at the 2024 Paralympic Games!

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate Orla Comerford’s incredible achievement at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris! Orla has secured a bronze medal in the T13 100m with an outstanding time of 11.94 seconds at Stade de France. This marks a monumental moment as it is Orla’s first Paralympic medal, a well-deserved recognition of her dedication and hard work.

As one of Ireland’s flag bearers at this year’s Paralympic opening ceremony, Orla represented her country with pride and determination. Her success on the track is a testament to her relentless pursuit of excellence and her inspiring spirit.

Orla’s journey to this moment has been extraordinary, and we are especially proud because of her long-standing support of our charity, Fighting Blindness. Over the years, she has generously given her time and energy to advocate for our cause, and we are deeply grateful for all she has done. Her success in Paris is not just a win for Ireland, but also a triumph for everyone who believes in overcoming obstacles and achieving greatness.

On behalf of everyone at Fighting Blindness, we extend our warmest congratulations to Orla. We are honoured to have her as part of our community, and we are excited to continue supporting her in all her future endeavours.

Congratulations, Orla! You’ve made us all incredibly proud!
