Save the date for Retina 2020

Mock up of virtual studio

This Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November, join us for our first ever virtual Retina conference. Hosted entirely online, Retina 2020 will bring together top international and Irish researchers and clinicians in the global effort to find treatments and cures for conditions causing vision impairment and blindness.

On Friday 6 November we will host our scientific programme for researchers and clinicians. Our Public Engagement Day for people living with sight loss will run on Saturday 7 November. Mark the dates in your diary and more details about speakers and timings will be announced shortly. Registration will open shortly, both events will be free of charge.

The decision to move our annual conference onto a virtual platform was not taken lightly. After extensive discussions with our board and team members, we decided that – in light of the ongoing Covid-19 (coronavirus) health crisis – the safest option was to host an online conference instead of our usual face-to-face event.

Whilst we’ll miss the opportunity to meet with our community, including our members, funded researchers and clinicians, we’re confident that we will deliver an engaging and innovative virtual Retina conference.
