Spanish Panel Unveils Cutting-Edge Insights on Inherited Retinal Diseases at RIWC24

Renowned experts in the field of ophthalmology are set to converge at the Retina International World Congress (RIWC24) to shed light on the latest advancements in the diagnosis and management of inherited retinal diseases. Following Prof Ayuso García’s presentation, Prof Isabel Pinilla Lozano, a distinguished Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Zaragoza, will take the stage to discuss “Distrofia hereditaria de la retina por mutaciones del gen IMPG2” (Inherited Retinal Dystrophy due to IMPG2 gene mutations). Prof Pinilla Lozano’s research on this specific genetic mutation and its implications for retinal diseases provides a unique perspective on novel therapeutic targets and diagnostic approaches.

Completing the panel lineup is Dr Juan Manuel Muñoz, an esteemed ophthalmologist specialising in retina, whose talk title will be announced soon.
