Stephen Surdival takes on the Paris2Nice Charity Cycle in aid of Fighting Blindness!

November 9, 2021

Paris2Nice is a unique and exceptional non-competitive charity cycle that raises much needed funds for charities throughout Ireland.

For many months Stephen Surdival trained and prepared for the 6 day cycling challenge. Stephen’s own sporting background is in competitive cycling and triathlons. Having met many people through his wider circle of friends who have completed Paris2Nice in the past, he decided a few years ago this was something he would like to do.

Covering approximately 700 kilometres Stephen started in Paris on the September 10 and completed his epic adventure in Nice on September 16.

Stephen not only completed the full leg of the Paris2Nice cycle, but he also raised an amazing €7,600 in aid of Fighting Blindness. We are so grateful for his wonderful support!

On Thursday November 4 Stephen had the opportunity to present his cheque to our Acting Fundraising Manager, Kathryn Sinnott.
