Thank you to all of our marathon participants!

We want to send a huge thank you to all of the participants of the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon and the Cork City Marathon, who joined #TeamFightingBlindness this year. We were absolutely blown away by your enthusiasm and wonderful support!

All funds raised will go towards essential vision research into finding cures and treatments for blindness.

We even made the front page of the Irish Examiner and the inside pages of The Irish Daily Star and The Irish Sun with a beautiful shot of Lisa Delaney crossing the finish line with her children. The lovely image was captured by Darragh Kane, a Cork-based photographer.

Fundraisers like Lisa – and indeed everyone who supported Fighting Blindness in the Cork City Marathon and the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon – help to make a huge difference in funding vital research into finding cures for sight loss.
