Win a travel grant to RIWC2020

Would you like to attend the Retina Iceland Youth Programme this summer? We have the opportunity to put one person forward for a travel grant to cover your flights, accommodation and ticket to the conference.

The Retina Iceland Youth Programme is part of the 21st Retina International World Congress – an international gathering of some of the world’s foremost retinal scientists and clinicians along with global leaders in patient advocacy and peer support.

The conference is taking place from 4 – 6 June in Reykjavík, Iceland.

The travel grant will cover:

  • Travel to Iceland (maximum value of €500)
  • Three nights accommodation in a youth hostel
  • Registration fee to the youth programme

Who can take part?

You can enter if you are a:

  • Young person living with a retinal degenerative disease
  • Aged up to 35 years old
  • Resident of Ireland

How to enter?

To enter please tell us, in one sentence, why you want to attend. The deadline is 5pm, Thursday, 20 February.

We’ll choose our Fighting Blindness representative on Friday 21 February. The candidate will be put forward for the grant but we cannot guarantee that the application will be successful.
