Our Retina International World Congress (RIWC24) takes place from the 5th – 8th June 2024 in the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, in the heart of Dublin city centre.

Our Scientific Committee has been working relentlessly to secure an impressive lineup of outstanding speakers to shed light on this research area so as part of our Meet the Speaker series, we are delighted to announce one more distinguished speaker.

Professor Hélène Dollfus M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor and Consultant at the University Hospital of Strasbourg, specialized in Medical Genetics and Ophthalmology.

Prof. Dollfus is also head of the Medical Genetics Department of the Strasbourg University Hospitals (HUS), Coordinator of the Rare Diseases in Ophthalmic Genetics Reference Center (CARGO), as well as the national rare diseases branche SENSGENE, Director of the Medical Genetics Laboratory, Instigator of the future Institute of Medical Genetics of Alsace (IGMA), President of the scientific council of Retina France and Coordinator of the project ERN-EYE.

We are delighted to have Prof. Dollfus with us at the Retina International World Congress talking on Friday, June 7, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM together with Professor Bart Leroy & Professor Frans Cremers about the Genetic Architecture of Retinal Degenerations & Diagnostic Methods.
