Professor Sarah Doyle

Our Retina International World Congress (RIWC24) takes place from the 5th – 8th June 2024 in the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, in the heart of Dublin city centre.

Our Scientific Committee has been working relentlessly to secure an impressive lineup of outstanding speakers to shed light on this research area so as part of our Meet the Speaker series, we are delighted to announce one more distinguished speaker.

Professor Sarah Doyle Ph.D is Associate Professor in Immunology, Department of Clinical Medicine at the School of Medicine, Trinity College of Dublin and Head of the Immunobiology Research Group. Professor Doyle is also a member of the RIWC24 Scientific Committee. 

We are delighted to have Prof. Doyle with us at the Retina International World Congress:

  • Friday, June 7, 12:50 PM – 1:05 PM on Therapeutic target identification for degenerative eye disease.
  • Saturday, June 8, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM chairing the Afternoon Parallel Session – Option 2: AMD (Location: Goldsmith Hall 2).

In 2023 Dr Doyle was appointed Director for Research at the School of Medicine, Trinity College. Also in 2023 Dr Doyle received a prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant.

Dr Doyle is also a co-Principal Investigator on the EYE-D project which Fighting Blindness co-funds.
