The congress brought together over 500 participants from more than 43 countries, including researchers, clinicians, patient organisations, regulatory representatives, and individuals living with vision loss.
RIWC24 served as a vital platform for sharing advances in retinal research, fostering collaboration, and shaping future priorities in science and patient care. The congress was recognised with the Best Educational Meeting of the Year award at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2024, a testament to its broad international impact and inclusive approach.
