Success of the RIWC24 event at the 2024 Irish Healthcare Awards!
Fighting Blindness are delighted to share the success of the Retina International World Congress 2024 (RIWC24) event at the 2024 Irish Healthcare Awards.
RIWC24, hosted by Fighting Blindness, won the top prize in the Educational Meeting of the Year category and the judging panel had this to say about the event:
This was the stand out Educational Meeting of the Year entry. It had worldwide participation and impact and is an excellent initiative aimed at reducing blindness and the involvement of patients in the process is particularly noteworthy.
The RIWC24 brought together top retinal scientists, clinicians, advocacy leaders, and patient representatives, fostering collaboration and innovation in retinal research.
We worked closely with our fantastic colleagues at Retina International (RI) to bring this event to Dublin. We were delighted to meet RI members from all over the world!
